Diablo III Delayed to 2012

Blizzard's next big game Diablo III to nobodies surprise has been delayed to early 2012. While this is both a good and bad thing, I am sure fans are disappointed, as it means more waiting.

"However, this week we pulled together people from all of the teams involved with the game to decide whether we felt it would be ready before the end of December, and we grudgingly came to the conclusion that it would not. Ultimately, we feel that to deliver an awesome Diablo sequel that lives up to our expectations and yours as well, we should take a little more time and add further polish to a few different elements of the game."

The Diablo III team felt that the game was not up to the quality, after some discussion, they grudgingly came to the conclusion that they needed more time.

It is not all dark clouds, the post goes on to reveal that since the game was delayed into 2012, they will be inviting more testers for the Diablo III beta. So make sure you are opted in with your battle.net account.

For those that need a dungeon crawler fix, I highly recommend Torchlight II when it releases later this year or Torchlight I which is already available.
