Looks like the Nintendo 3DS price cut did help the struggling handheld. Announced today by Nintendo, sales are up over 260% since the price cut went into effect. According to Nintendo this is 185,000 units since the price cut and more than 235,000 units total in August.
Nintendo took this opportunity to announce other numbers for it's consoles, with the Wii selling 190,000 units, and the Nintendo DS moving 165,000. The total number altogether Nintendo claimed is 590,000.
With Star Fox 64 3D out today with the new red 3DS, anyone else picking one up or has picked one up since the price cut?
