Officially named "3DS Expansion Slide Pad" and has been given a release date and pricing, with additional support.
Announced during the Nintendo 3DS Conference, Nintedo set the release date to December 10th and priced at $19 in Japan. No release date was given for other territories yet.
The following titles were also announced to make use of the second analog, ensuring that whoever buys the add-on will be able to use it with a variety of titles.

- Capcom's Resident Evil: Revelations
- Konami's Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D
- Namco Bandai's Ace Combat 3D Cross Rumble
- Tecmo Koei's Dynasty Warriors VS
- Square Enix's Kingdom Hearts 3D Dream Drop Distance
With the Announcement of Monster Hunter 4 and increased sales, things are looking very good for 3DS.
