Looks like the rumors were indeed correct. The add-on which gives the 3DS a second analog slider, will be releasing for the 3DS along side Monster Hunter: Tri G. The extra slider will also add 3 shoulder buttons. This marks the first time outside of PSP, that a Monster Hunter game is being released on a portable.
All I can say is that it looks awkward, but if it is comfortable, then I would have no real complaints.
